Web Design Work

Throughout my career, I’ve developed my web design skills using CMS’s such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Drupal.

Below you’ll find the work I’ve done on the various platforms.

National Interscholastic Cycling Association

When I joined the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA), the organization was using WordPress with a custom child-theme.

After learning how to use the CMS, I recommended we update the website to a more modern, mobile-friendly theme, as well as adding an SSL certificate to improve SEO and be compliant with modern standards.

I maintained the NICA site, (along with building and maintaining several NICA League sites), from 2013 through the end of 2021.

In 2019, I took up freelancing, and helped a client develop their brand and create a website to market their services to their clients.

The project included the following:

  • Establishing Google Workspace Account
  • Creating a website from scratch using Wix
  • Developing a mobile version
  • Training the client to edit the website
  • Creating a Logo
  • Designing Social Media Posts
  • Print materials for promotional purposes
  • Van Wrap-around design

University of San Francisco

In 2022, I worked with the USF Web Services team on four one-month jobs (May, August, November & December) to migrate website data from their Drupal production site to their Drupal staging website. On the staging website, I created web designs based on production site specs, using the Drupal CMS create consistent layouts.

Currently am working on updating magazine content,  adjusting broken links and updating alt tags.

Linked below is the School Life & Careers section I helped design through the project.
